THIS DRESS WAS MADE FOR PINK LOVERS!
I feel so fun and flirty in this dress! But how can you not?!
One thing I really like, besides the pattern and color, is that the deep v is nicely complemented with the length of it. Normally I don’t go for such long dresses because of my height, it makes me look even shorter than I really am. I decided to give it a try since there were buttons down the middle. By unbuttoning up to the knees it balanced out the length with my height. With that said I may still chop off 2-3 inches from the bottom… we shall see.
For necklaces it was a no brainer that I had to incorporate the Double Dipping Necklace. Any deep v neck line is literal perfection with that piece. Next I decided to layer up the Evil Eye Necklace on top of the Double Dipping. I was super into the three tiered look that it created.
For the rings I played around with having multiple rings on one hand. I used the Claw ring as a pinky ring – it’s adjustable so I can wear it smaller when I want to. Then I put the Three Gem ring next to my pinky finger and on my middle I created a stack with the Dotted ring, Two Gem and Coin ring. On my other hand I kept it a bit simpler and put the Starburst ring with the Moon Ring (on the same finger).
For earrings, I showed off our newest additions to the Katie Dean Jewelry fam, the dainty and perfect Initial Studs! When creating these I knew they would have to be sold separately because what’s more fun than having an earring party that is personalized with initials?! On my right ear I wore the K Initial stud in my first piercing and the Heart studs in my second. This is personal for me because I always dot my i’s with a heart!
On my left ear I wore my mom’s initial “A” with the Little Dipper stud. My mom, Dr. Ann Auburn, has always been a star in my life and many other peoples so I loved having her initial in my earring party. (She’s an incredible doctor in Michigan! You’ll be hearing lots of wise words from her in an upcoming blogpost where I interview her!)
For bracelets I wore my main stay, the Claw Cuff, on each wrist. They’re so classic and easy to pair up, I hardly take them off!
Lastly, I added a cute flair to my look by tying my hair back with a simple white ribbon. I’m going to start doing this more often! It was such an easy thing to do too. For shoes I wore my white Feit tennies. They are my most comfortable and stylish tennis shoes and it kept my look casual. I took my new Xhin wicker basket out for a spin and filled it with flowers. It made me feel oh so French!
As always, I hope you found some style inspiration from this post! You can shop all the jewels from the links above and they are listed below as well.
