If you have not received a response and it's been 48 hours since you reached out please check your spam or junk folders as sometimes our reply emails are automatically sent there. To ensure our email replies make it into your inbox, please add firstname.lastname@example.org to your address book.
Exchanges & Returns
Because our pieces are handmade and because we are a small independent business, our return policy is stricter than the big box brands out there. We thank you very much for your understanding and compliance with our policies.
What is our return and exchange policy?
Exchanges or returns must be in their original, unworn condition and postmarked to Katie Dean Jewelry within 7 days of your order being delivered to you with the prepaid shipping label that we provide after approving your return or exchange. If your return is postmarked more than 7 days past your delivery date, we cannot return or exchange your piece.
Example: Your package is delivered to you on Monday, May 1st. If you change your mind and would like to return it, your return package must be postmarked (shipped) by Monday, May 8th, back to Katie Dean Jewelry.
What if my exchange or return is late?
After 7 days from when you receive your order, items are ineligible for return or exchange. If a package is sent back to us after this timeframe it will be automatically reshipped to the customer upon receipt at our warehouse.
How do I start my exchange or return?
The fine print:
To start your exchange or return, please email email@example.com with your name, your order number and the name of the piece that you would like to exchange or return.
After your return is approved, you will be emailed the required form for your exchange or return as well as a prepaid shipping label to send back your exchange or return. Please only send returns using our pre-paid shipping label that we provide so that we can track your package. We cannot refund a lost return that was sent using a method other than our return labels.
- Tape the return label on the mailer.
- Drop off your return to USPS (United States Postal Service).
- All orders sent in for a refund within the valid return timeframe will be refunded minus a $7.50 handling and service fee. All original shipping fees are nonrefundable.
- Orders that meet the stated requirements herein are eligible for one exchange only and after that point are not eligible for a refund or exchange.
- Refunds or exchanges are processed within ten (10) business days after receipt of package.
- All items purchased as a gift are still applicable to our exchange and return policy and will not be granted any exceptions.
All sales are final on international / Canadian orders and on pieces in the "Sale" section of our website. We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages on international or domestic orders. We do not refund or accept exchanges on international / Canadian orders and all customs and/or duties fees are the responsibility of the recipient.
* Please keep in mind we do not accept returns, replace, repair or exchange pieces that show aging since everyones body chemistry is different and will affect the jewelry differently therefore making these factors outside of our control.
