Because our pieces are handmade and because we are a small independent business, our return policy is stricter than the big box brands out there. We thank you very much for your understanding and compliance with our policies.
Please note: All sales purchased during our 40% Off New Years Sale are final and cannot be exchanged or returned.
What is our return and exchange policy?
Sometimes things just don't work out and we understand that. You have 14 days after your order ship date to exchange or return your original, unworn jewelry. We offer free exchanges or returns for store credit or if you’d rather move forward with a return, no problem! The timeline is the same. You have 14 days from your ship date to return your order for a refund using our online returns portal. Returns will be charged a $7.50 re-stocking fee which will be deducted from your refund total. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
How do I start my exchange or return?
Exchanges and returns are super easy and should take less than 3 minutes!
Just have your order number and shipping zip code in hand. You’ll find the order number in your Katie Dean Jewelry Confirmation email or Packing Slip. Got it? Then let's get started!
What if my exchange or return is late?
After 14 days from your order ship date items are ineligible for return or exchange. If a package is sent back to us after this timeframe it will be automatically reshipped to the customer upon receipt at our warehouse.
Need help with your order?
We want you to love what you ordered. If something is not right, we want to know! Please contact us through our Contact Us Page or by emailing us at hello@katiedeanjewelry.com and we will be in touch as soon as possible. If you have not received a response and it's been 48 hours since you reached out please check your spam or junk folders as sometimes our reply emails are automatically sent there. To ensure our email replies make it into your inbox, please add hello@katiedeanjewelry.com to your address book.
The fine print:
- After submitting your return or exchange you have 5 days to ship it back. If shipped after this timeframe the shipping label will be voided and the package will be returned back to you.
- All orders sent in for a refund within the valid return timeframe will be refunded minus a $7.50 handling and service fee. All original shipping fees are nonrefundable.
- Did you receive a free promotional gift with your original order? Don't forget to include it with your return.
- Orders that meet the stated requirements herein are eligible for one exchange only and after that point are not eligible for a refund or exchange.
- Typically we process exchanges and returns quickly but on rare occasion it may take up to ten (10) business days to process after receiving your package.
- Did you receive your jewelry as a gift? You can submit an exchange or return for store credit.
- All sales purchased during our 40% Off New Years Sale are final and cannot be exchanged or returned.
- All sales are final on international / Canadian orders and on pieces in the "Sale" section of our website or when noted as "Final Sale". We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages on international or domestic orders. We do not refund or accept exchanges on international / Canadian orders and all customs and/or duties fees are the responsibility of the recipient.
* Please keep in mind we do not accept returns, replace, repair or exchange pieces that show aging since everyones body chemistry is different and will affect the jewelry differently therefore making these factors outside of our control.
