Life as a creative entrepreneur and small business owner during a pandemic. That's something I never imagined I would say or write. But here we are, almost six months into Covid-19 and very thankful that we are still in business.

Although we aren't hitting some of our goals that we set at the beginning of 2020, we are progressing by leaps and bounds in a lot of different areas that we had planned on putting to the back burner. If there is one good thing about a challenging situation it's that it makes you to tackle your to-do list with new vigor and gives you perspective on your priorities, personally and professionally.

Recently I was interviewed by Renegade Craft about how we've been coping during Covid-19 and it was truly a delight! I share how Katie Dean Jewelry has adapted and continues to adapt with the ever evolving state of current affairs. I also touch on how we have pivoted our marketing strategy and overall tactics since in-person markets remain at a stand-still, which for us has been a pretty big deal since real life shopping events are typically a large part of our revenue stream.

With a bright eye on things returning to normal again, I also shared seven tips on how to stand out at in-person events once they resume and how to boost your sales.
