Happy Mother’s Day to all of you and your sweet moms! We hope you found a way to make her Sunday feel extra special.

Just recently, Katie was lucky enough to have her mom in town! Any time they get to spend together is cherished since they live in different parts of the country, but the highlight of this trip was a jewelry making class that they took together. Doing crafts has always been a big part of their relationship, and when I asked Katie what made this activity to special to her, here’s what she told me!

“When I was little my Mom had an art box delivered to the house every month. I would sit in the kitchen overwhelmed with excitement as my Mom would bring the box to me and we would spend hours going through all the little beads and sparkly parts, putting them together and making new little trinkets. She would display whatever I made in the house for everyone to see. It’s one of the most cherished parts of my childhood and I can’t wait to do this with my kids one day!”
