Katie’s Tea Party Bridal Shower at Laduree
Katie Dean, March 27 2018
In case you were wondering, two of my favorite things are: French macarons and tea time.
Vanilla flavor to be exact, is my favorite French macaron. Followed by Pistachio. My mouth is watering just thinking about them! I discovered the beautiful patisserie, Laduree, on my first trip to Paris when I was 18 years old. An obsession ensued with all french desserts. I was enamored by how beautiful and ornate they were! And ever since seeing Alice in Wonderland as a little girl, I always loved having tea time.
So it was only fitting that I gather my favorite ladies for an afternoon filled with beautiful sweets and yummy tea at the pastel filled Laduree in Beverly Hills for my Bridal Shower.
My bridesmaids and I started the day at my favorite make up salon in LA, Blushington. We were pampered to the nines and treated like queens as we got shower ready alongside my two dearest friends, Stephi Maron (the COO and Founder of Blushington) and Nicki Maron (CMO of Blushington). We had so much fun chatting, sipping champagne and having a care free morning before the festivities. You should check out their visually pleasing Instagram here and also their list of services (starting as low as $60 for a full face of make up!).
While we were at Blushington I surprised each of my bridesmaids with their gift, a solid gold Initial Necklace. It was such a special moment to see each one of them open up their gift and thank them for helping me throw the Bridal Shower of my dreams and all the other bridesmaid duties that come along with planning a wedding. I couldn’t do it without them!
When we arrived at Laduree our tables were already set perfectly. It was so gorgeous we didn’t want to start eating (almost!). The finishing touch was putting our gift bags out for each guest with a Skinesque gift box filled with nourishing brightening and hydrating face masks plus their famous Enzyme Washing Powder. (I use their products weekly – for real though! Check out their Instagram for more skinspiration.)
I hope you enjoy seeing how we celebrated!
XOXO, Katie
