What a year!
On a personal and business level, this was a year of exciting changes and lots of growth. The biggest one being that I got married! Which I would love for you to read all about in my blogposts here, here and here and our feature on BRIDES. What an amazing time of life! And let me just say, for all engaged ladies out there, I take my hat off to you. Planning a wedding is no joke but wow, the feeling of everyone celebrating your love with you is unforgettable and truly magical.
On the business side we completely overhauled our website to create a better user experience and more aesthetic platform where you can now leave reviews on your favorite pieces, shop by collection, order a FREE ring sizer and take our Jewelry Quiz to help you decide what jewelry style is meant for your personality.
Creatively I feel the brand is at it's best ever. I'm so proud of the collections released this year. The Vintage collection brought you beautiful longer necklaces to pair up with your already existing shorter KDJ necklaces and the classic signet style rings (that are perfect to wear on your pinky finger). We also had the limited edition Summer Collection and added over 10 more letters to the Initial Collection, making it 17 total that are available now. Last but not least are my favorite pieces that I've designed yet, the Beaded Collection, which was released this Fall.
Make no mistake, with all accomplishments come failures and we learned so many things this year but you know what? No one ever learned anything by staying the same. As we continue to evolve and try new things, we truly appreciate your patience, understanding, and most of all your encouragement and support. I design jewelry because I love making YOU feel beautiful. It's the little things in life that hold the most importance: a walk outside on a perfect afternoon, your morning latte or just getting dressed in the morning and feeling beautiful just the way you are.
I hope you smile and feel like a million bucks whenever you wear your KDJ ...or even when you see our emails or social media posts. I want to make the world a better place, one dainty jewelry piece at a time.
