White Hot

Back at it again! This time with a white hot look.
Everyone knows that it’s free reign after Memorial Day weekend (even though I don’t really adhere to the rules of ‘no white’ prior to the last Monday in May). This time I’m highlighting an outfit with all neutrals.
For me an all neutral look is forever classic. Really any look where I see one color palette for the entire outfit is always striking to me (unless it’s pea green or bright orange).
In this outfit I’m wearing a sleeveless top that has a small turtleneck and wide, billowing middle section that’s nice for those hot summer days. I love pairing this style of top with the longer necklaces in the collection so I chose the Needle & Thread lariat this time. This piece is super versatile because there is no clasp so you can adjust the main charm to lay wherever it best compliments the shirt you’re wearing. I wanted the drop down of the necklace to be a bit longer with this top so I placed the charm higher up on my chest. A trick for when you wear this piece: always loop the ‘needle’ part of the necklace into the charm twice. This way it forms somewhat of a knot and secures the placement so it won’t come undone if you are moving around a lot.
For a bracelet I chose the Claw Cuff because of it’s strong gold presence. With a neutral look consisting of shades of tans and whites the Claw Cuff really stands out and in my opinion adds a perfect compliment of shine.
The final touch for this outfit, a ring stack with some of my staples: the Little Dipper, Hammered Band and Moon ring. This combo is one of my favorites because the stars on the Little Dipper ring combined with the Moon ring reminds me of Lake Michigan beach walks on a warm summer night.
Side note: I want to take a minute and give a shoutout to our Hammered band rings. They come in sizes 3 – 9 so you can get that pinky ring you’ve always wanted or that thumb ring you’ve always had your eye on. Plus they make great stacking rings because they are so dainty. A lot of times I’ll switch between wearing my size 3 Hammered Band ring as a pinky ring or as a knuckle ring and my size 8 Hammered Band ring I will switch out between my middle or pointer finger to my thumb. (Most commonly a size 3 is good for a pinky ring or knuckle ring and size 7 or 8 is a good size for a pointer or thumb ring.) Out of all the rings this is the one I most recommend buying in solid gold because you can literally ALWAYS wear it and it will never, ever go out of style.
Lastly, the finishing touch of this outfit was in the earrings. I love stacking studs and using both of my piercings to make those details a little more noticeable. In this look I’m featuring the Claw studs and the *new* Starburst ear crawlers, which I’m SO excited about! I personally like to wear the Starburst ear crawlers in my second piercing but they look fabulous in the first piercing too. (If you don’t have a second piercing and have been thinking about it, I would go for it! It’s so fun.)
And with that… this outfit post is complete!
As always, I hope you love this look as much as I do. Let me know how this inspired you to live a more beautiful life. Hearing from you makes my day!
Xo, Katie
