Seattle Top Five (in 48 Hours!)

Public service announcement: Seattle is one of the best kept secrets in the Pacific North West
But seriously! In the past few years I've visited Seattle a handful of times, always for work with very limited time to explore. Little did I know that I was amongst some very delicious culinary destinations, amazing coffee and fun tourist destinations. I had no idea what I was missing out on until a recent trip for a family wedding.
This time around I didn't have any work events scheduled and I was there with my husband (total game changer because he takes being a foodie to a whole new level - lucky me!). Jon, my husband, is one of the most organized people I know especially when it comes to planning our food adventures. If you read our Honeymoon Travel Guide to France & Italy you already know this. He's always reading blog posts and reviews on the best restaurants and wakes up at any hour of night to ensure we get a reservation at the hottest spots wherever we travel. It's like having a personal travel agent in waiting and the best part is that he loves doing it. Again, lucky me!
For this quick 48 hour trip to Seattle he had us booked at an Italian spot the first night and Southern the next AND he scouted out the yummiest coffee destination in the city. It was an extra special treat that we rang in my favorite month (hey October!) with Seattle’s quintessential cloudy skies & chilly temps. Safe to say Jon and I had a the best time being tourists there!
Have any recommendations for where we should visit on our next trip to Seattle? Leave a comment below so we can add it to our list!
xoxo, Katie
