In Love, In Paris

I’m back with more Paris fashion inspo!
Even though I’ve been back for weeks now, I’m still dreaming of my time in the City of Lights. There is something so wonderful about being able to walk out the door and into a city with thousands of years of history. It ironically makes me feel so present and in the moment. The spirit of the city is like nothing else, and I am so thankful for all of the adventures.
On this day, Jon and I managed to squeeze 3 days worth of sightseeing into one. It was exhaustingly incredible. I am always trying to balance comfort and style so that what I am wearing doesn’t get in the way of life. Here, I managed to dress up a simple tee and jeans with great accessories and an amazingly comfortable pair of suede booties.
The most important thing I think about when designing jewelry is versatility. I want it to be able to go with anything and seamlessly fit into a person’s life.
I kept my look very relaxed with some of my favorite basics: Madewell jeans that have been aged to perfection, camel colored Zara trench coat, light brown suede booties from Vince and for a pop of color my red bandana. I let my red bandana have it’s moment in the spotlight and chose to not pair up a necklace with it. Instead I layered on my bracelets and rings. The first piece I put on was the Claw Cuff. It’s a go to piece for me because it’s so simple and chic. After that I layered up my Linked Bracelet and Starburst bracelet. The perfect dainty combo!
Next I paired the Bar with Gem ring with an assortment of Hammered Band Rings. I love the Hammered Band rings because they are thin and minimal in their essence so you can layer on a lot of them and they never look over done. Since my engagement ring is rose gold, I’ve been layering mixed metals a lot more – my current crush, a hammered band ring in silver, gold and rose gold worn on the same finger. GORGEOUS! (we offer our Hammered Band rings in solid rose, yellow or white gold, shop them all here!)
Lastly, for earrings I stayed with my favorites yet again (cause you can never go wrong with them), the Claw Studs and Little Dipper studs — both available in solid gold here!
And just like that, another style post comes to a close. As always, I love hearing from you — have questions or need help on how to layer or style your jewelry?
Let me know in the comments below!
xo, Katie
