How to Pair Rings & Earrings without Being Too Extra
Katie Dean, August 08 2018
Some people say that they feel too 'extra' when they match up the styles of their rings and earrings. While that is a matter of opinion, I do think that mixing and matching is stylish, not to mention fun!
Since our earrings are dainty and minimal you can focus on using multiple styles to create your own unique look. I like to think of it as telling a story. For instance, take our Cactus studs and the Little Dipper Studs. I always call this the 'Desert Night' look. It reminds me of my first trip to Joshua Tree where I saw insanely beautiful cactus and a gorgeous night time sky that was filled with stars. It was magical.
So let's say that you went with the Cactus + Little Dipper studs for your earrings. Instead of going for the matching rings switch it up and get the Moon Ring, Coin Ring and some various sizes of the Hammered Band Ring so you can have a pinky ring and thumb ring within the mix.
You still have an overall desert theme going on but it's not so prim and proper (not that there's anything wrong with being prim and proper).
Below I laid out some other combos of earrings and rings for you to check out! I hope it makes jewelry shopping stress-free and fun.
I love seeing the combos you put together too! Tag us on Instagram (@katideanjewelry) when you post your selfies so we can get inspired by your look.
Happy shopping!
