3 Steps For Personalized Layering

You know the saying, “Good things come in threes”? In addition to the belief that it brings good luck, we also think it’s a recipe for great style. Keep reading for the break down!

LAYER 1: CHAIN NECKLACE

We love starting our layering with a simple chain necklace. Typically we keep the length anywhere from 13-15" on this top piece so it stays right at the base of your neck. If you'd rather have your gold chain be the second or third layer in your necklace party that works too (shop the Herringbone Chain if you want a longer length for your chain necklace). The main thing is having at least one simple chain necklace in your trio. Reason being that your other two layers will probably have a some sort of pendant or charm on them so by having one of your layers be a simple gold chain, it will add in a different texture and bring in some diversity to the look.

LAYER 2: BIRTHSTONE NECKLACE

For your second layer we recommend the Birthstone Necklace which goes from 16-18 inches depending on where you clasp it. There are a few reasons for this: one being that because the charm is connected on both sides of the chain, it prevents the necklace from moving around and showing the back clasp – this can often be a problem when layering multiple pieces at once. The second reason we recommend this piece is because the Swarovski crystal adds in just the right amount of sparkle to your layers.

LAYER 3: ZODIAC NECKLACE

Lastly, for your third layer we highly recommend one of our newest pieces: the Zodiac Necklace. This piece adds another personalized touch to your layers, making it even more unique to you and aesthetically it rounds out your golden look.
